Add a Participant to an Experience manually

You can enroll a Participant into an Experience manually at any time. This works even if your Experience is set up to automatically enroll Participants.

Enrolling Participants late

For Experiences that have a milestone (for example “first day at work”), Participants who are added to the Experience a little late are put into catch up mode. This means that their Experience is automatically truncated to catch them up on everything they have missed to date.

How to enroll Participants manually

  1. Import the Participant to Dado if needed
  2. Navigate to the Experience you want the Participant to be added to.
  3. Near the top right of the page, click the Enroll button and then select Enroll manually

  1. In the window that opens, you’ll find a list of people you could enroll.
  • If your Experience is oriented around a key date (e.g. first/last day at work, birthday), only people with this date set in Dado will appear in this list

  • To narrow down this list of people, click Add filters to open the Edit filters window. To clear your filters, click Remove filters in this window.
  • To show only the people who meet the enrollment rules you’ve set on the Experience, click Use template enrollment rules at the top right of the Edit filters window, then Apply

5. Select the people you wish to enroll from this list by clicking the checkboxes to the left of their name

    • You can add multiple people at the same time by marking multiple checkboxes

  1. Now click Preview and Configure in the bottom right. On this new screen, you have the option to make changes to these Participants’ Experiences before they start, such as:
    • Changing their Manager or other Supporting Actors
    • Skipping any Timeline items
    • Changing the milestone date (e.g. first day at work)

  1. Once you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, click the Enroll button in the bottom right
  2. You’re done! These Participants will be enrolled immediately in the Experience.
