Experience Creator: Basics
This is part of a series of articles explaining how to create an Experience, step by step. See the Creating an Experience overview for links to all articles.
Basics
- Experience Name: the name your employees will see in emails and notifications, e.g. "Onboarding starts soon". We suggest keeping it short and simple, and making sure not to use any internal codes or names.
- Admin Experience Name: can only be seen by admin users of Dado. Use the Admin Name to help you identify variations of an Experience, for example, an Onboarding Experience customized for a particular office or role.
Contacts
- Notification Sender Name: shown in the "From" field of emails sent by Dado.
- Reply-to Email: use this so that when employees press "Reply" to a Dado e-mail, they can write directly to you or your team instead of the standard email no-reply@dadohr.com.
- Support Contact: This is shown in the footer of the emails and Slack messages, as well as in the top area of each employee's page. We suggest using the name and e-mail of the person or team responsible for helping employees with their experience.
You can use variables in these fields. This means, for instance, that you could set the Sender Name and Reply-to Email to the participant's Manager, or the specific member of the onboarding team assigned to support them.
If you use variables in these fields, we strongly encourage you to use fallbacks. Learn more about variables and fallbacks.
