Getting started with Dado Moments

Welcome to Dado Moments! We're excited to help you send better, more personalized employee communications, with less manual effort.

Now you've set up your account, here are the next things we'd recommend you do:


Explore the template library

There are more ways to use Moments than we can count—but the templates in the template library give you are a great place to get an overview of all the kinds of comms you can send.

Click on the Template tab in your Moments overview page and then use the categories to explore.

We're adding new templates all the time. If you can think of a gap we should fill with one or more templates, let our support team know on help@dadohr.com.

Whitelist Dado, to avoid your Moments going to spam

Dado will send Moments from notifications@dadohr.com.

Request your IT team white-lists this address, so your Moments won't get sent to spam or trigger phishing warnings.


Create your first Moment

Moments is designed to require zero training to use, so feel free to get started.

Our step-by-step guide is a great companion, and walks you through:

  • how choosing recipients works, and targeting a Moment to a specific set of employees
  • the different kinds of tasks you can insert in your Moment to collect info, ask employees to read documents, upload files and more
  • using variables to add personal touches to your Moment

Add some employee data, so you can try out targeting/customization for your Moment

Moments uses Dado's powerful Target Audiences feature to enable you to send different versions of a message to different employee departments, locations, levels and more.

But to really see how it works, you'll need some employee data in your Dado account. We recommend you start with a few test employees (like you and your immediate team-mates) while you're still getting to know the tool.

Uploading employee data is super simple and doesn't require you to set up any integrations. Full instructions can be found here.
