A better percentage calculation for the Drilldown Report
Based on customer feedback, we've updated the way percentages are calculated in the Drilldown report.
This report now gives you a clearer view of how far employees are through an experience, and who might require some extra support.
What is the Drilldown Report?
Dado's drilldown report is the best way to get an overview of what's going on with your employee experiences, and identify where you might need to step in to support struggling employees.
The report shows you an overview of all the tasks in an experience, and the status for each task for each individual. You can filter to see different cohorts, narrow down on specific tasks, or view everything assigned to a particular supporting actor.
You are also shown an overall completion percentage – and that's what's changing.
See our full help article for more information on the Drilldown Report.
What do the percentages represent?
Percentages indicate the completion rate for all tasks in the experience.
If 1 out of the 10 tasks in an experience has been completed, that experience will be shown as 10% complete. Only required tasks are included in this calculation: if a task is optional, leaving it incomplete will not reduce the overall percentage.
What do the colors mean?
The color-coding of the percentages indicates which experiences are on-track and which are getting off-track, because tasks are overdue and have not yet been completed. This helps you identify who might need additional support.
- Green tells you that only one or two deadlines have been missed
- Yellow indicates a few deadlines have been missed
- Red indicates lots of deadlines have been missed
- Grey indicates that no task deadlines have passed yet
In the example below, all three experiences are 40% complete. However, the number of overdue tasks is very different:
- In Aïda's experience, no tasks are overdue, reflected in the green color-coding of the percentage
- In Kirani's experience, a few tasks are overdue, so the percentage is shown as yellow
- In Pamela's experience, a significant number of tasks are overdue, so the percentage is red
You will sometimes see a grey percentage as well. This color indicates that no tasks have been completed – but also no deadlines have passed.
