Introducing Experience Managers – control the access different team members have to your experiences
Released October 2022
Until recently, any Admin users added to your Dado account had access to all experiences, as well as the setting for your account. It's now possible to assign Admin users one of two new roles, which bring with them different access permissions.
The two roles are:
- Account Administrators: users with this role have the ability to view, edit and launch all Experiences in your account. They can also control user imports and manage organizational settings like custom fields and third-party integrations.
- Experience Managers: users with this role can only view and edit selected Experiences. They have no access to user imports, integrations, custom fields, or other settings.
This extra control over what Admin users can and can't do enables you to invite more of your colleagues to create their own experiences in Dado, or to view what you're creating. There are lots of different ways you can use this control, but here are a few examples:
- Role-specific onboardings: invite members of different departments to run their role-specific onboardings or trainings through Dado. They can view other Experiences of the same type, but they won't be able to make changes to any Experiences except their own. And they won't be able to see anything that should remain confidential, such as who's enrolled in offboarding or PIP experiences.
- Viewing reports: invite other members of your team or leadership who want to see the reports on how your Experiences are running, but won't be actively managing or co-creating these programs. With view-only access to these Experiences, there's no risk that they will accidentally make changes.
And remember, there are no restrictions on how many Admin users you can have on your account.
You can find instructions here on how to set up users with these new roles, or amend existing Admin users' roles.
