How to impersonate an employee, to see their Dado Tasks and Messages
The individual experience page (accessible from the Participants table and the Drilldown report) shows you the key details about the Tasks, Messages and Automations in someone's experience, eg the time they were sent and their status. But this screen will not show you exactly what that employee (or any of their Supporting Actors) see when they access Dado.
Impersonating the employee enables you to see their real Dado task page, where you can see the full content of Tasks and Messages sent to them; and see their responses.
When you impersonate an employee, you're access their real Dado tasks. If you complete a task –eg by clicking a button or link – this task really completes!
If you complete a task accidentally, you can uncomplete it via the individual experience page.
To impersonate people in a particular experience, start on the Experience page, in view mode. Scroll down to the Participants table and click on your test Participant.
In the screen that opens up, there is a drop-down in the top right. In this drop-down you'll see the option to open the task page of any individual involved in this experience. These are the real task pages, so you can even complete tasks from these pages.
Click on the role you want to impersonate and their task page will open in a new tab.
