New options for batching Messages and Task notifications

Dado now offers two ways to group together tasks/messages into notifications, to reduce the noise in employees' inboxes:

1. 'Per Participant' batching: all tasks and messages a) sent to the same person, b) in reference to the same employee's experience, and c) starting at the same date and time will be sent in a single notification

• EG: a message and 2 tasks for the manager of a new hire, sent at 9am on Monday will be sent in 1 email
• if the same manager has 2 new hires starting on the same day, 1 email will be sent for each new hire

2. 'Per Cohort' batching: similar messages/tasks for all Participants that start at the same date and time will be sent together
   • EG: the tasks for IT to set up systems access for every new hire starting work on Jan 15th will be sent in one email
   • if IT has another task for the same Jan 15th cohort, that starts at the same date and time, it will be sent in a separate email

Per Cohort batching is particularly valuable for teams/individuals who have tasks for a large number of employees, due at the same time. For instance:

• An HR team member who must review the background check results for every new hire
• A training supervisor who must give feedback on the progress of every trainee in their course
• An IT team member who must submit a tracking number for every laptop sent out to new hires

With Per Participant batching, these scenarios would lead to a large number of notifications – but with Per Cohort batching only a single notification is sent:
